Positive thinking workshops

Artist Heleen Cornet will be holding workshop sessions on positive thinking. She is inviting the public to register with her for the events that will explore the power of the mind. The first session took place Thursday, March 8, with other sessions planned for today, Friday 9:00-10:30am, and 7:30-9:00pm, as well as Saturday, March 10, 9:00 to 10:30am at The Pearl House on Troy Hill. The announcement calls for interested participants to “explore the mind and examine its power.”

Topics covered in these sessions include an understanding of the power and effect of thoughts, what influences thinking, aspects of understanding one’s “true identity” and how it affects the quality of thoughts.

The facilitator of these sessions describes them as an investigation into the energy of the human mind, “one of the greatest, but least understood energy resources of the universe. When we understand and harness this energy, we possess the keys to happiness and contentment as well as to improving our relationships and circumstances.”

The gatherings seek to reflect on how one conceptualises self in rapport with others, and how good communication in relationships defines trust, love, respect and understanding of the other.
