The Consultative Caribbean Dutch (OCaN) ( Overlegorgaan Caribische Nederlanders) holds a meeting on Wednesday, March 14 for Dutch people come from Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba. During the meeting, among others, the lieutenant Gerald Berkel of St. Eustatius and Saba Jonathan Johnson will be present.
“Purpose of the meeting to the governors of the BES islands and the people in the Netherlands that originate from the islands the opportunity to inform and consult each other on the latest socio-economic and political developments on the islands.”
The meeting takes place in the Van der Valk restaurant in Scheveningen and starts 6:30 pm. The event takes place during the to the so-called BES week, which will be held next week. During this week the governors and commissioners of the islands have the opportunity to meet with the representatives of various ministries.
