The Dutch inflation rate remained at 2.3% in September, the national statistics office said on Thursday. Inflation has now been stable for three months. The Dutch inflation figures are lower than the average for the Euro zone.
The price of air tickets increased the inflation figures, but this was compensated by a reduction in prices for new cars.
According to European harmonised figures, the Dutch inflation rate is 2.5%, also unchanged on August. Average inflation in the eurozone is 2.7%.
