Government starts to resurface various roads

The Public Entity of Saba recently signed a contract with local contractor Saba Roads for the much needed resurfacing of some of the island’s roads.

Commissioner Bruce Zagers and Project Director of Saba Roads, Paul Djasmin

The contract involves the road to The Level and also two side roads in the Bottom. It also calls for the patching of potholes on the road to the Fort Bay. The work on this road will commence this week and the government is asking for the cooperation of all drivers that use this road.

Commissioner of Public Works, Bruce Zagers called the works a necessary step being taken to improve the island’s infrastructure and said that he expects full cooperation from the public during the ongoing works.
