The Kingdom Youth Parliament has launched its Website www.kingdomyouthparliament.org , writes The Daily Herald . The Website provides information about the Kingdom Youth Parliament, which is to convene on St. Maarten in May 2014. A total of 50 youngsters from all parts of the kingdom will be forming teams to debate their joint future. During the debates, they will be discussing what the kingdom has to offer where it concerns education, jobs, culture and safety, now as well as in the future. Youths between the ages of 16 and 23 who want to have a seat in the Kingdom Youth Parliament may register on the Website from October 1. The Website explains how prospective youth parliamentarians can submit videos to become a candidate for one of the debating teams.
The Kingdom Youth Parliament is part of the official celebrations of 200 years Dutch Kingdom and will be made possible by contributions of the Committee Kingdom Relations, National Committee 200 Years Kingdom, private sponsors and volunteers.
