A new chief prosecutor on St Maarten

Mr E. W. Noordhoek, will be the new chief prosecutor of St. Maarten. The National Council of Ministers decided to nominate him, according the proposal of the Minister of Security and Justice.
Noordhoek (1958) begins in January 2014 with his work at the Court of First Instance of Sint Maarten. He is currently a senior officer at the Court in The Hague. Noordhoek was previously among other functions national public prosecutor at the Functional Court in The Hague. There he was responsible for combating money laundering and terrorist financing.
