Police has new emergency number

The Police Force Caribbean Netherlands on Saba has a new emergency number. The old number, +599 416-3737, could no longer be used as a result of damage caused by lightning last week. The damage was so serious that telephone company Satel NV had to be involved.
The police on Saba can now be reached via the new emergency number: +599 416-6155. Satel is trying to solve the problems with the connection of the old number. As soon as the old number can be reinstated, Saba police will inform residents of Saba about this.
