The Saba Tourism Committee met with Windward Islands International Airways WINAIR Managing Director Michael Cleaver and Director of Strategic Marketing, Sales and Public Relations May-Ling Chun this week. This reports The Daily Herald. The meeting was an opportunity for industry partners to exchange ideas on how to increase tourist arrivals to Saba.
The primary topic of the meeting was a shared marketing strategy. The number of flights available to the island, the fare prices of WINAIR flights to Saba and connectivity with other carriers were discussed as well. Cleaver also seized the opportunity to inform the committee about different issues related to the airline, in particular, new code-sharing partners and the recently introduced routes. They were also updated on WINAIR’s marketing strategy for this year.
The Tourism Committee discussed its marketing strategy, which includes targeting viable new markets to increase the number of visitors the island. The committee was set to up to allow partners in the tourism industry the opportunity to give their input on related matters.
