Island Governor Jonathan Johnson welcomed the women to this year’s event and remarked that the event was being celebrated again after being absent for a few years. The keynote speaker, Jacqueline  Louis of the Phenomenal Women’s Foundation, delivered an inspirational speech and challenged the women to think and act like monarch’s and repeat to themselves the mantra ‘I am a queen’.

After the speech ten fortunate ladies won prizes sponsored by local businesses. There was a cocktail reception with music for the women to enjoy themselves.

The event was organized by the Strong Women’s Association and sponsored by the Island Government of Saba.
