The Permanent Committee of Kingdom Affairs and Inter-Parliamentary Relations met on Friday, and approved the attendance of Members of Parliament (MPs) who want to attend the 18th Trade Mission. This writes The Daily Herald.

The theme this year is “Connecting Sustainable Business from the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Caribbean Region.” The mission will be held next week at The Westin St. Maarten Dawn Beach Resort and Spa. MPs from other Dutch Caribbean islands will also be present for the mission, which has a strong focus on alternative and sustainable energy. The committee members also worked out some of the topics they want to see address at the Inter-Parliamentary Kingdom Meeting scheduled for June 3-6 in The Hague, the Netherlands.
