Resident arrested for domestic violence

A male Saba resident A.G. was arrested during the morning of July 3 and charged with domestic abuse, threatening and vandalism. Dutch Caribbean Police KCPN officers were called to the scene around 11:15am and were told by the victim that her boyfriend had broken her cell phone during an argument that morning. The man, who has since been released from police custody, was served with a restraining order. The case has been referred to the Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba (BES) Prosecutors Office on Bonaire for further review.
