A plaque of appreciation was presented to Deelstra by the Lynch Plantation Seventh Day Adventist School in honour of her contribution over the years.

Vlugt will work with various primary schools on quality improvement. He has worked in quality management as a project manager for a school board overseeing 30 primary schools in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He has experience both as a teacher and as a principal for a school for special education.
