PUM received subsidy from Ministry Kingdom Relations

The Daily Herald writes that the organisation of Dutch senior experts PUM received a subsidy from the Ministry of Home Affairs and Kingdom Relations in The Hague to assist entrepreneurs in the Caribbean Netherlands. A special introductory meeting was held at Captain Don’s Habitat in Bonaire, but the programme is also applicable to St. Eustatius and Saba. PUM has existed for 35 years and has given advice to more than 35,000 businesses in 70 countries. Those who request assistance only have to pay the travel and guest accommodations expenses for an average two-week stay of the expert to be flown in from the Netherlands.

  1. The SBA had a very successful meeting with Mrs. Marja M.T. Hendrikson. Application papers and information can be picked up at the chamber of commerce office in Windwardside or by contacting the SBA. If a business needs expert advise, this can be a good opportunity to get it for a very reasonable contribution. The first PUM experts are expected to arrive on Saba in about two month time.
