Violence in relationships is not normal and it is also a criminal offense, even if the victim and the perpetrator are married or cohabitating.

There are all kinds of domestic violence: physical violence, sexual violence and psychological violence.

If you are a victim of domestic violence, do not hesitate to contact the police on your island. They will put you in touch with the Victim Support Office. It is an important first step to share your story with others and to ask for help.
