The Evaluation Committee that will study the effects of the new constitutional status of Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba will be visiting Saba on Sunday November 16th and Monday November 17th.
On Monday November 17th from 5.30 until 7.00 PM a Meet & Greet is planned at the Eugenius Johnson Center in Windwardside. During this meeting the Committee would like to speak with as many residents as possible in order to hear their opinion.
The Evaluation Committee is headed by Liesbeth Spies, former Minister of Home Affairs and Kingdom Relations. The four remaining members of the Committee who will meet with Saba residents are Fred Soons, retired professor of the Utrecht of University, Glenn Thode, vice-chancellor of the University of Aruba and former island Governor of Bonaire, Luc Verheij, Professor at the University of Leiden and State Councillor for the Council of State, and Frans Weekers, former State Secretary of the Ministry of Finance.
During this Meet and Greet committee members will introduce themselves to residents of Saba. Residents will in turn have the opportunity express their views and opinion with regards to their experiences in the new constitutional structure during the past 4 years.
