SMART 2015 May 13 through 15

The Daily Herald announces that the fourteenth St. Martin/St. Maarten Annual Regional Trade Show (SMART) – where the region comes together to support, interact and promote tourism to the Eastern Caribbean – will be held at the Sonesta Maho Beach Resort and Casino, May 13 through 15. Attendees to last year’s event concurred that it was the best SMART so far and organisers are determined to surpass everyone’s expectations with the upcoming event.

St. Maarten Hospitality and Trade Association (SHTA) and the L’Association des Hoteliers de St. Martin, in conjunction with the St. Maarten Tourist Bureau and the L’Office du Tourisme de St. Martin are expecting numerous tour operators, travel agents, travel writers, and event planners from the United States, Canada, Europe, and Latin America to return to the island for this important event.

“The tradeshow provides a unique opportunity for local and regional hoteliers and activities providers to present their tourism product, network and negotiate prospective business opportunities.
