International Nurses Day, May 12

International Nurses Day is celebrated around the world every May 12, the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth. The IND theme for 2015 is : Nurses: A Force for Change: Care Effective, Cost Effective.

The Saba Health Care Foundation and the Honorable Henry Carlyle Every Home for the Aged commemorate this important day by honouring the nurses from both organizations together.

The public is invited to join the nurses in two community events:

– Nurses Day Kick off Walkathon,
Date: Friday May 8th, 2015

Ending at the Ambulance Bay (SHCF)
