Education: minimum HBO Opleiding / College B.A. (industry specialization a plus)
Salary: Based on experience and deliverables
Job Functions:
Ø Project Management: costing, implementation, monitoring and evaluation;
Ø PR and Marketing, outreach communication with stakeholder groups;
Ø Development of Outreach / Awareness campaigns;
Ø Grant proposal writing and reporting;
Ø Office administration;
Ø Volunteer and Human Resources management;
Ø Facilitate educational workshops in the field of HIV/STD prevention, family planning and reproductive health and (other) capacity building;
Ø Networking / Alliance Building (locally and regionally);
Ø Development / Publishing of Quarterly Newsletters, Annual Report and Informational Materials;
Ø Institutional liaison and lobby activist on local and regional human rights monitoring and promotion
Qualifications / Desired Skills & Experiences:
Ø Confidentiality and professionalism in working with and promoting the rights of people living with HIV and human rights in general;
Ø Knowledge of HIV and other STDs, family planning and reproductive health, and the ability to capacitate oneself further to meet the demands of the organization and its objectives;
Ø Office management experience including financial administration/budgeting (Quick Books);
Ø Proficiency in Microsoft Office Package and computer skills related to development and publishing of informational materials and websites;
Ø Experience in project grant proposal writing and reporting;
Ø Flexibility in schedule to meet program implementation demands;
Ø Experience in public health institutional capacity building, mainstreaming health education programs, human rights awareness and sensitization campaigns are a plus
Ø Fluency in English is required; Dutch and Spanish language abilities a plus.
