Inspections and traffic controls Saba

Before the start of Carnival, inspections were held by KPCN.

On Thursday evening, July 24 and Friday, July 25 unannounced inspections were held at the harbor of Saba.
Two ships were inspected by the Coast Guard, Customs, Police Force, KMar and Customs. Goods and persons were thoroughly checked. Nothing significant was found during this inspection.

There was also a large traffic control on Thursday on July 24th, 2015 held by the police in the area of St. John’s. More than 50 vehicles were checked and 10 drivers were verbalized for non-payment of road tax, the use of public roads without a valid insurance and driving without a valid license. Also several drivers received warnings from the police because of their way of driving.
