Stage production of the Lion King performed by the youth of Saba.
Directed by Dahlia Hassell
The theater group of Child Focus Foundation’s extra curriculum activities presented The Lion King at the Eugenius Johnson Centre.
Directed by Dahlia Hassell, scenes from the well-known musical were sung, danced and acted by the young members of the theatre group, assisted and joined by adults who had volunteered their time and skills to make the show a success.
The stage set-up, sound, lighting and costumes were all done by a number of volunteers, inspired by Hassell and Child Focus project leader Stacey Simmons, both from Saba.
Mankind Drummers showed their talents during stage changes, and at the beginning and end of the show.
Proud parents and grandparents expressed their surprise and admiration for the way the hidden talents of their children had been expressed during the show. All persons who had watched the show said they were already looking forward to the next presentation.
