Saba students to St. Maarten to visit Career and Study Fair

Students and teachers of Saba Comprehensive School (SCS) will be leaving Saba on Wednesday, November 4, to visit the St. Maarten Career and Study Fair at Belair Community Center, writes The Daily Herald.

Over 1,400 students and many representatives of universities, colleges and local businesses attended the previous fair, which was held in 2013. Last year, no study fair was held.

The ultimate goal for the SCS students is to provide them with information and insight into admission requirements of universities, academic orientation, and scholarship or financial aid information in order to make informed decisions for their future careers.

The Saba students and teachers will be travelling to St. Maarten on the Dawn II ferry from Fort Bay at 7:00am. They will be returning to Saba that same day at approximately 6:00pm.
