Mega D headed to Saba

Dion “Mega D” Humphreys, along with the children and adults connected to the Mega D Youth Foundation MYF, headed to Saba from St. Eustatius on Friday, from Charles A Woodley Pier on Dawn II, writes The Daily Herald.

The trip is the launch party for the second motivation album titled “Incredible” released by the foundation on November 12, 2015.

On Saba, the group will enjoy several activities coordinated by Child Focus Saba and the Youth and Family Centre, including a basketball game with MYF Ballerz and Saba Strikers and fun games of “Minute 2 Win It.”

The album launch and show takes place today, Saturday, on the Princess Juliana Sports Field starting at 7:00pm. Saba Djembe Group and BYA are slated as special performers at the launch with Mega D.

The first album was released in November 2012, and was hailed as huge success for the foundation. Since its launch, Mega D said many children now speak out against child abuse, sexual abuse and issues of common concern to Statia’s youth.
