The Pension Fund Caribbean Netherlands PCN announced the pension premiums have increased per January 1 to the maximum level, as a result of people living longer also in Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba (BES).
This means an extra amount of 25.6 million US dollars must be reserved. In addition, the low interest rates on world markets mean less investment income for the fund.
The premiums are still not higher than what participants in the former Antillean Pension Fund APNA paid before the new constitutional relations within the Dutch Kingdom took effect on 10-10-10.

It’s a lie, there is plenty of money in the funds, and they getting a interest/return on equity rate around 7% average on the last 7 year’s, and that’s during the crisis. And people do not live longer, this is never proven it’s assumption that we live longer not a fact.
