Lipscomb fourteen years coming to Saba

Lipscomb University celebrated its fourteenth year of coming to Saba for missions with a choreographed “Battle of the Island” dance competition Saturday evening at Princess Juliana sports field in The Bottom, writes The Daily Herald.

Lipscomb University is a private, coeducational, liberal arts university in Nashville, Tennessee. It is affiliated with the Churches of Christ.

The theme of this year’s visit was “What’s Your Story?” Activities began on March 13, at Cove Bay for a tailgate party and continued throughout the week. Highlights included a Family Movie Night, A Jell-O/Water Fight on the Museum Grounds, and Capture the Flag.

Saturday night was highlighted by the Battle of the Island closing ceremonies where each grade from Sacred Heart School performed a song and dance number.
