The Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) is responsible for the enforcement of this law. The ACM sets tariffs of drinking water and electricity and will also check if terms and conditions of electricity and drinking water companies are reasonable and fair. The quality and safety of electricity and drinking water is the responsibility of the Dutch Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate.
