Public holiday Labor Day celebrated on May 2nd

The Executive Council of the Public Entity Saba hereby informs the public of the following:

Labor Day is officially on May 1st. This year, however, due to the fact that May 1st falls on a Sunday, Labor Day will be officially celebrated and observed on Monday, May 2nd.

This is based on Article 23.2 of the Labor Law 2000 BES.

All businesses and employers are required to adhere to this exception for 2016.
