At about 2/3 if the distance up the road a pump booster will be installed to boost the water flow even further uphill. As well the safety walls alongside the road will be renovated.

SRC and local authorities advise motorists and pedestrians to exercise extreme caution when maneuvering in the area throughout the duration of the project. The resurfacing work is expected to be completed by the end of this year.

Some inconveniences are expected, however the public’s full understanding and cooperation will be appreciated as the main access to the island’s harbor with its historically “s” shape construction is refurbished.
