Children's rights expert to speak on local radio

Children’s rights expert Nils Kasberg will be speaking about plans to implement the Rights of the Child, and the establishment of Youth Councils on Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba on Radio Statia, CTC Radio, FAB Radio, and Voice of Saba Radio.

These programmes will air on the local radio stations on Friday, August 5, and on Friday, August 12.

Kasberg, who is a former official of United Nations children’s rights organisation UNICEF visited the islands recently. During his visit, he spoke with church officials about combating child abuse and domestic violence.
