With the assistance of Head of the Disaster Management Department of St. Maarten Paul Martens, the focus of the training was on sharing information and collaboration between the different safety partners. On Friday the training was concluded with an exercise at Well’s Bay Road in the morning and an exercise at the Fire Station in The Bottom in the afternoon.

Same as last year, a major exercise with the Dutch Royal Navy and Marines will take place on Saba in October. In the next couple of weeks, the Public Entity Saba will be asking for volunteers to participate in the exercise as role players.
