On Thursday, September 29 we were informed by our provider that they had experienced an important break-in into their servers. They could not easily assess the extent of the damage, so they decided to take the websites off-line that might have been compromised.
The provider indicated that they have optimized their security systems. However, due to the complexity of the attack, it appeared to be difficult to find out which sites actually might have been affected. Consequently, for safety, all information had to be removed from the servers and we had to rebuild the Saba News site from scratch again.
This took some time, but we’re back online again. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Although we put a significant effort in testing, there still may be functions on our site that do not work properly. Please be so kind to inform the webmaster of the issue so that it can be repaired.
Thank you for your patience.
The editor team.
So glad to see you back. Regards from Belgium.
