The service level agreement between the two organizations will enhance the SHCF’s laboratory quality and services provided to the community of Saba. Some areas where SLS will assist SHCF are the further upgrading of the quality of the laboratory, providing knowledge and experience to SHCF in the field of medical laboratory care, on-site and technical support, trainings and refresher courses.

The agreement also covers advice/consultation on issues or areas of clinical chemistry/hematology, immunology, medical microbiology, pre-analysis, quality assurance and support by SLS in setting up a Quality Management System.

SHCF provides the population with medical care via the clinic, ward, 24-hour emergency service, ambulance service, radiology, ultrasound, laboratory service, home health and physical therapy.

For years, both organizations have had a solid working relationship and with signed agreement the cooperation is further strengthened.
