Preparation for the celebration of the 41st anniversary of Saba Day on December 2, is “now in full swing,” announced Saba Culture Commissioner Rolando Wilson on Thursday afternoon. A detailed programme for the official ceremonies and celebration is being finalized.
This year’s theme for Saba Day is “Hold My Memories Dear.” The official celebration will be held in the village of St. John’s on the grounds of Saba Comprehensive School.
Wilson called on all Sabans and other island residents “to start preparing for us to have a splendid Saba Day. I am calling on everyone to get their flags out, and let us show the entire world that we really love our little Unspoiled Queen.”
