Everyt'ings and Five Square moving to new store complex. Opening Thursday 5 pm

The team at Everyt’ings gift shop and Five Square Art Gallery are confident that they will be ready for the unveiling of their new store complex in Windwardside on Thursday, at 5:00 pm.

After six months of planning, designing and building they are in the fi nal stages of preparation and are looking forward to welcoming their customers to the new premises during a grand opening party, “come hell or high water,” said Emilie Declippeleir, one of the owners of the two old, established Saban businesses.

“After many years at our previous location we felt it was time to move on. Our new home is more modern, more spacious, and is all on one level, which makes it much more accessible and easier for our customers, our friends. Plus, there are two parking lots right next door and we’re bang in the centre of Windwardside.”

The new premises are located in the old police station or what co-owner Gerard “Gersh” Geenty calls the “Old Nick” in British slang.

“It’s fantastic,” said Geenty. “The shopping experience will be much more comfortable for our customers. The new shop and gallery have three huge double doors and seven windows to catch the breeze and ensure airflow; all our lighting is LED which doesn’t produce the heat associated with old fashioned halogens, and we also have air conditioning and ceiling fans for those really hot summer days. We can’t wait to open.”

Everyt’ings will open with a new range of European-designed home products and décor as well as everything Christmas, whilst the gallery will be featuring a number of new paintings by renowned local artist Heleen Cornet.

The new gift shop and art gallery complex will have the same opening hours as before: Monday-Saturday from 9:00am to 6:00pm, and on Sundays from 12:00 to 3:00pm. Everyone is invited to the opening party, the proprietors said.
