While Saba has attended the show for many years, this will be the second year that Saba, St. Maarten and St. Eustatius have collaborated to create a joint stand, which displays the unique beauty and diversity that these islands have to offer. By having a joint stand, the islands will have a larger presence at the show and will have more of an impact on its visitors. Many European travelers prefer to visit various locations while on vacation, and having a joint booth also promotes an “Island Hopping” experience. This show will be utilized to promote Saba and its tourism products to the European market. The booth will be located in the Caribbean village where a Caribbean atmosphere will be enjoyed with live music and cultural performances and will also include a display of Carnival Costumes. Caribbean inspired food and drinks will also be offered.

Materials displayed will include information about various aspects of Saba such as the activities offered on the island, the various accommodations and Saba’s culinary offerings. The new brochure will also be on display, and visitors will receive Saba’s new 2017 desk calendar. Duo screens will show video footage of the nature and wildlife on Saba, St. Maarten and St. Eustatius, which was created specifically for the Vakantiebeurs. This video will also be added to social media sites later in the week. You can visit the Saba Tourist Bureau’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/SabaTourismBureau/. The booth will be located in Hall 4 in the Caribbean Village of the Vakantiebeurs, booth number B108. Persons in the Netherlands, or other European countries, are encouraged to visit Saba’s booth during this travel fair to learn more about the island and its many enchanting qualities.
