Traffic limitations due to annual Triathlon on January 28

The Executive Council of the Public Entity Saba hereby informs the public of the following:

On Saturday January 28t\ 2017 Saba hosts its annual triathlon. We ask of your cooperation to limit traffic at:

• Fort Bay Road: 8:15- 9:15 am
• The Bottom: 8:30- 9:45 am
• St. John’s: 8:45- 10:30 am
• Windwardside: 9:00- 1 :00 pm
• Upper Hell’s gate: 9:45 – 12:00 pm

We advise those that are travelling between the hours of 8:00 am and 1:00 pm to expect a longer travel-time, as the triathlon may be of interruption to your route.

The traffic coming from English Quarter will be rerouted to go through Pasture’ s Street next to Unique Supermarket, while St. John’s traffic will remain the same. Volunteers will be doing traffic control, to assist with flow of traffic.

Further,  we wish to inform the community that the Tourist Bureau parking lot will be closed from Friday January 27, 2017 at 8pm and will be reopened for the
general public on Saturday January 28, 2017 at 3pm. The triathlon’s final gathering will be held at this location.

We ask for your cooperation with parking elsewhere during this big event
