Deadline for payment of Saba vehicle road tax at March 15

The Island Receiver of the Public Entity Saba made known that the deadline for payment of the 2017 vehicle road tax has been set for March 15. All vehicle owners can purchase control stickers at the Island Receiver’s Office starting from January 3.

The Island Receiver’s Office is opened on working days from 8:00am until 11:30 am, and from 1:15pm until 4:00 pm. The prices for payment of vehicle road tax and stickers are US $157 per year for private cars and standard trucks, or $79 per half year.

The price for trucks and heavy equipment above 7,700 pounds is $311 per year or $156 per half year. Trucks and heavy equipment above 7,700 pounds which are running on diesel fuel pay $367 per year, or $184 per half year. Taxis and rental cars pay $157 per year, or $79 per half year. The vehicle road tax for motorbikes has been set at $115 per year, or $58 per half year. The price for a licence plate is $20.

By March 15, all motor vehicles must carry the teal-coloured control stickers for the first half of the year. The second half year stickers are coral coloured.
