Ladder Bay Trail closed during ‘Elsa’ salvaging

The lower section of the Ladder Bay Trail will be temporarily closed and the dive-site buoy will be tem­porarily removed during the salvaging process of motor yacht Elsa.

A public notice issued Friday by the Public Entity of Saba reads that due to precautionary measures, the Lad­der Bay Trail will be temporarily closed as of Monday. May 22. and that the dive-site buoy will be removed.

The Executive Council apologises for any inconvenience this may cause, it was stated in the notice that was signed by Island Secretary Tim Muller and Acting Island Gov­ernor Franklin Wilson. The motor yacht ran aground at Ladder Bay on March 22.
