Stranded Motor Yacht Elsa removed

On July 11th, the salvage company Koole-Mammoet, hired by Rijkswaterstaat, removed the last significant piece of the Elsa from our shore. Between July 11th and July 14th, the salvage company removed pieces of debris from the beach and the seabed. On Saturday, July 15th Saba Conservation Foundation made their final inspection of the sea bottom.

The Public Entity would like to thank everyone involved in the salvage such as Rijkswaterstaat, Koole-Mammoet, Saba Conservation Foundation, the harbor office, local fishermen and many others.

The Ladder Bay trail has been reopened, and the dive buoys in the area will be reinstalled on Tuesday, July 18th.
