No prosecution for fatal car accident in June 2017

On June 11th, 2017, a fatal car accident took place on Saba in the vicinity of the Saba Electric Company. The driver (F.A.J., born on April 12th 1943) who was coming from the Windwardside, died in this accident. His wife (M.J. H. e/v J ., born on September 3rd 1941) survived the accident.

The four passengers of the car coming from The Bottom were, with exception of some minor injuries, unharmed.

The police investigated the accident. A number of witnesses have been heard. The situation on site had also been investigated. It can not be concluded that one of the drivers can be held responsible for the fatal accident.

The Public Prosecutor will therefore not go over to prosecution.
