SEC warns for possible interruptions of power due to testing solar park

Saba Electric Company N.V. hereby informs its customers that there is the possibility of an island-wide interruption in the supply of electricity during the 2-week period between Monday, February 12th, 2018, and Friday, February 23rd, 2018, as it is in the process of finalizing its first solar park
installation.

This final phase includes the commissioning and acceptance testing, which may cause interruptions.
This first solar park will reduce Saba’s dependency on fossil fuels, marking a huge milestone in Saba’s goal to move towards renewable energy and energy independence.
