On the weekend of May 25 -27, 2018, Child Focus presented their annual Children’s Theater Production. It was a sold out venue, This year the children portrayed a version of the movie Shrek, which was adapted by the director to include modern-day political humor.
A total of 22 children participated in the play. Every Monday and Thursday the children met at the Child Focus building to rehearse. With great determination, theater teacher Melissa Wicker wrote, directed, and coached the children in their acting skills.
The theater production was shown on two sold out nights and a matinee. The children did an amazing job, portraying their character to the best of their abilities. They were very excited to be on stage and to show off their skills to their family and friends. Many parents, relatives, and friends came to see the show and to support the talented children of Saba.
Child Focus Foundation would like to thank all the sponsors and volunteers for their contributions for making this event a success.
