Windwardside gets ready for Saba Day

Commissioner of Culture, Commissioner Rolando Wilson announced  yesterday that preparations for the 43rd annual Saba Day Celebration are underway. This year the official ceremony will take place in the Windwardside with the slogan; Saba Day 2018, “ A Celebration of Sabans’ Resilience, Culture, and Heritage.”

The committee members for Saba Day 43 are:
Shaigan Marten President; Desiree Ann Marie Johnson Secretary; Raymond Huismans Treasurer; Amelia Alexa Alexandria Hassell; Cristobel Hassell;
Glenn Holm; Nicole Johnson and Randall Johnson.

Commissioner Wilson would like to encourage everyone to come out and celebrate our national day together for Saba Day 2018.
