State Secretary Van Veldhoven visits waste management location Saba

Stientje van Veldhoven, State Secretary for Infrastructure and Water Management (I&W), paid a working visit to the waste management location on Saba on July 15th, 2019. This location was seriously damaged as a result of Hurricane Irma and was repaired with a financial contribution from the Ministry of I&W is.

With this incineration, residual waste can be processed in a safe and relatively sustainable way.
Van Veldhoven spoke among others with members of the executive council on how to use the incinerator as efficiently as possible and the avoidance of smoke nuisance for the people on Saba.
