Are you interested in becoming a qualified Primary School teacher and do you possess a diploma on at least mbo 4 or equivalent CXC level?

The Stichting Katholiek Onderwijs Saba Board of Sacred Heart School is exploring the possibility of a local Bachelor in Education course in co-operation with teacher training institute IPA (Instituto Pedagogico Arubano).

Brief description local Bachelor of Education course program:

• The language of instruction will be English
• The course will be in blended form, including online and locally organized sessions
• The course duration is three to four years
• Being a subsidized course, college fees will be low
• In the case of sufficient participants, the course will start in August 2020 on St. Eustatius and on Saba and there will be intakes and a preparatory trajectory during the school year 2019/2020.

Entry requirements:

• minimally a completed mbo 4, havo or equivalent CXC education
• a passion for working with children
• motivation and perseverance for completing this course alongside your regular day time activities.
