Sacred Heart School celebrates National Down Syndrome Awareness Month.

Everyone at Sacred Heart School, the students, faculty members, staff members, bus drivers, and even guests, showed their support and willingness to educate others about Down Syndrome. Everyone devoted their time to coloring a paper ribbon and adhering it to the large Down Syndrome ribbon poster.

Teacher Helen, the Remedial/ Special Ed teacher feels it is always important to educate the students on how to accept that everyone is different and special. Let’s celebrate our differences-whatever they may be-and love unconditionally.

People with Down Syndrome are just like us, “Beautiful inside and outside.”

Thank you for all your support!
