Partners in Parenting – Interest Questionnaire

Partners in Parenting is a collaborative initiative by Expertise Center Education Care (EC2), the Department of Community Development and Public Health. This program is geared towards providing practical support for parents and creating a platform where parents can come together and share their experiences and advice on various topics.
In our first session, we spoke about the topic “Family Time”. To ensure that this forum is of interest and relevant to parents on Saba, please assist us by answering the following questions.

The EC2 (Expertise Center Education Care) of Saba reintroduced support for parents one year ago, in the form of parent evenings which are held once per month. I, Rayann Ramdin, am the person responsible for coordinating this service. Our main focus is on empowering parents with the tools they need to have a positive and enjoyable parenting experience.

This is not a lecture or workshop series; this is simply a team of professionals coming together to facilitate parents being able to network with each other, share ideas, concerns and advice. After all, “it takes a village to raise a child” 😉 No one has all the answers. Being a parent is one of the most difficult tasks, but, our hope is that by bringing parents together and encouraging healthy dialogue, they can feel inspired and motivated to keep pressing on, in the interest of raising their children to be upstanding individuals in today’s society.
