The Human Resources Department of the Public Entity Saba on Tuesday, November 26 and Wednesday, November 27, hosted a workshop that focused on the technical implementation of the civil servant regulations (“arbeidsvoorwaarden ambtenaren”)
The two-day workshop was attended by employees of both the Public Entity Saba and the Public Entity St. Eustatius. Four civil servants from St. Eustatius came to Saba for the workshop. The Human Resources Department and Internal Control of the Public Entity Saba were present with four persons.
The workshop was provided by labor regulations specialist Alexander van Engelen from the Netherlands. HRM Head Miguela Gumbs was positive about the cooperation with the Netherlands and St. Eustatius. “This is another step in the islands working together with trainings and also strengthening the department in the practical implementation of civil servant regulations,” she said. Unit Manager Internal Services Francisca Gibbs of the Public Entity St. Eustatius added that she was very pleased with the training and would like to organize more trainings and workshops together that would benefit both governments in the development of their civil servant’s apparatus.
