On Tuesday, June 9th, Melisa St. Hilaire and Eva Lopez Guzman obtained the Dutch nationality during a short ceremony at the Government Administration Building.
The Island Governor read two documents, both in Dutch, individually to each person, after which they took the oath.
The candidates had to comply with several conditions to qualify for the Dutch nationality and can now apply for a Dutch passport.
