Divers, on Wednesday, found a number of packages which could possibly contain narcotics in the waters off Saba.
The Caribbean Netherlands Police Force KPCN seized the packages and has launched an investigation, which is led by the Prosecutor’s Office of Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba.
The Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement on Thursday, that the exact contents of the packages cannot be disclosed as yet. No arrests have been made, but as the investigation continues and possible arrests cannot be excluded.
