Education as basis for children’s rights

The two-day conference “Education as a basis for children’s rights” took place on the 7th and 8th of March.

The conference is an initiative of the Inter-Country Task Force for Children’s Rights organized by the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations in cooperation with UNICEF.

Professionals from Curacao, Aruba, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius, Saba and Sint Maarten came together to formulate a vision of positive parenting, to put this vision into practice and to jointly carry it out.

It turned out to be two inspiring days in which much knowledge was shared. The joint effort was directed towards improving children’s rights and especially the power of collaboration and connection was recognized within the Kingdom.
